Birdie Time

Scored a couple of big ads this week. Right now i have 12 teams playing in my tournament and 20 ads. I have many more teams and ads coming in today which will make this the best week so far. Love you guys. Remeber March the ninth is the big day.

I have sold three ads this week and have recieved 750 dollars from that. I also had 3 teams sign up this week. Also i have recieved my price's from the business that is printing my signs. It will cost 12 dollars a hole sign and 25 dollars per flag. I am contiuing everyday to call business's. Wish me luck, the tournament is almost here.

Paper

I have gotten my research paper back, and I am very happy about the result. This paper was one of the hardest task I have accomplished, but it made me learn so much, not only about the topic I chose, but about how things can go wrong when they seem so good. What I am talking about is when I was trying to print out my paper the ink in my printer ran out, and then when i came to school to print out the paper, the printer at the school was not working. So kids do not wait until the last minute to print out a research paper.

AD Time

I have started selling ads. I will sell flags ads for $500 each, hole sign ads for $500 each, and for $750 a business can purchase both of these ads. I will also sell business card ads for $100 each, which then will go in prize bags for playing in the tournament. I will sell ads up until Feb. 5.

Change

Yeah, i am changing course's. Early this week i got a call from the pro from Carolina Country Club and he said i could get a better rate at their course than i could at river falls. I also figured ou that my speacial is not going to be able to make it, but his said and manager is. But he is sending shirts and golf balls signed with them.

What is Happening

Good news, have the course date set in stone at River Falls Plantation on March 9, 2011. I will start at 10 am and end by about 2:30. I will be servering lunch between the front nine and back nine. Also my flyers for my tournament for ads and for the tournament it self will be going out next week. Finally i still do not know about my special guest, but have been in contact with him.

Research

I am writing my senior project research paper on, should student college athletes be paid to play his or her sport. I have found that the average loss for one university football team a year is a little over 7.8 million dollars. This statistic shows that colleges would loss even more money if they pay their athletes to play. Also student athletes get enough benefits for playing in college already, like food, gas, hotel cost, and insurance. Student athletes should not get paid to play in college because universities already loss enough money from athletic programs a year, college athletes are student, not employees, and college althletes already recieve enough benefits other than scholarships.
